ST. CATHARINES – St. Catharines residents without a a family doctor are getting some good news.

The city has recruited two new family physicians to the area.

Dr. Clement Ayanbadejo and Dr. Christian Proulx will both be establishing practices in St. Catharines, accepting new patients immediately.

“The addition of two family physicians in the City of St. Catharines demonstrates the effectiveness of our physician recruitment program,” Mayor Brian McMullan said in a statement, Wednesday.

“Efforts to increase the number of doctors in our community, to ensure people have access to health care services, have been highly successful.”

New patients are encouraged to contact the physician’s offices.
